Chippendale Bed Project
I designed this bed to fit with the chippendale bachelor chests and entertainment center for my wife's bedroom set.

This is a pic of the headboard while I was trial fitting the pediment molding.

The headboard is a substrate of 1/2" MDF with a veneer of Waterfall curly Mahogany.

This shot shows how I achieved the post without using solid stock.

In the finishing room with the red mahogany stain and a few coats of lacquer you can really see the figure on the headboard.
