Chopping Block Project

This is a pic of the block top before the legs were added. St Marys church in Phoenix remodeled their gym and gave several small pieces of the old floor to AAFW club member Reid Parker who in turn gave it to me. After some clean up milling I assembled it into the block you see here.

This is the block top after the legs were added. The legs were turned from Jatoba then attached to the block with a dovetail.

This is the block in a shot taken the day of the Excellence in wood show in 2005. It won me a first place ribbon.
